Congratulations to Mr and Mrs Homer!
Julian and Amy have only gone and got married! Congratulations and we all hope you have many, many happy years together.
Missing Person have made the press!
Macclesfield Express and everything! See below:

Congratulations to Ben and Louise
Ben and Louise have recently become proud parents little Eliot.
The wanderers return
Laura and Julian are now back and our first rehearsal in roughly 12 months went really well!
A HUGE thank you to Nic, and not forgetting Mark too
We'd like to say a HUGE thank you to Nic for her sterling help, hardwork and excellent vocals while Laura has been off enhancing the population. Thanks Nic! We also couldn't have done it without Mark's fantastic bass skills, so thanks to Mark too.
Congratulations to Laura and Stuart
Laura and Stuart have become the proud parents of a little girl. They've named her Libby and she weighed in at just 1lb and 13oz.
Anyone know a good bass player?....
Unfortunately John has had to leave the band due to other commitments. This means that we need a stand in bass player to take us to when Julian comes back in May. If you play, or know someone that plays and can commit to one night a week for rehearsal (which is free) and two gigs a month, contact us at info@missingpersonband.co.uk.
Gig at Hunters cancelled
Apologies for having to cancel the gig at the Hunters in Chisworth. Unfortunately Laura's got a bad chest infection and can't sing... which is a bit of a problem seeing as she's the singer and the rest of us can't hold a note!
A good bass player found us!
A huge thank you to John who wasn't just thrown in at the deep end - he was catapulted! With only three 'singerless' jam sessions under his belt, he managed to play brilliantly at both gigs on Saturday. Thanks John, you're a star.
Anyone know a good bass player?....
Congratulations to Julian - he's been promoted at work, but that means he's got to spend the next year in GERMANY! This is a little too far for him to come back to rehearse, so we need a good bass player to fill his shoes while he's away. If you play, or know someone that plays and can commit to one night a week for rehearsal (which is free) and two gigs a month, contact us at info@missingpersonband.co.uk.
The gigs that are already booked should still go ahead as planned. Julian has promised to 'commute' until the new bass player is up to speed.
Gig at the Grouse cancelled
Our sincere apologies for the gig being cancelled tonight, but it was out of our hands. We're still on at the Swan tomorrow night and as far as we know the gig at the Grouse on the 23rd will go ahead as planned.
Gig at the Swan cancelled
Our sincere apologies for having to cancel the gig tonight. Unfortunately Laura has totally lost her voice!
Broken bass player update
Julian's got his arm back and has played a full rehearsal using a bass guitar!
Broken bass player
Julian has broken his arm playing football! He has an ingenious solution to enable us to rehearse while he's armless though, he's using Ben's spare keyboard to play the bass lines! You'd never know the difference!
Missing person has a new line-up
As Seb and Simon have moved on to concentrate on other projects, the rest of us have been on the look out for new musicians to take their place. The result of the hunt is the new line up of Clare back on the drums, Martin has taken over the guitar and Julian has come back to the band to play bass. Ben and Laura have stayed as they were. |
